Streetside Salzburg CondosGritty TV cops know it, and so do almost-as-gritty Ci Creatives—sometimes you just have to listen to your gut and do what’s right. Streetside Development Corporation had been running the same campaign message and style for over two years, and asked us to freshen it up a bit. Nothing major—just rearrange the boxes and stuff and make it look different. Maybe it was all those morals our parents and cub scout leaders instilled in us, but for some reason we just couldn’t do it. Sure, it would have been easy, and we could have sent them an invoice sooner, but it just didn’t feel right. Every housing developer piece we looked at uses the same boxy layout with yet another kitchen picture, smiling people, a map, and a logo. Yawn. We knew that following this same-old style would blend in with the rest and get them no attention. So we started over. We took a chance, looked at what was most interesting about the product and made it the focus of the message in a big way. We love it, the client loves it, and they’re getting much more buyer interest because of it. It’s a textbook case of taking a slightly more risky zig when the competition is content to follow the same old zag (thanks Mr. Trout). Ad Copy: Escape the yard — and all the work that goes with it. Let a new Red Haus Salzburg condo take care of everything — inside and out. |
